HK&W Marine teamed up with Ben Cox LLC to create a public access at the foot of the old 301 bridge that runs parallel with current interstate 95. This project consists of a covered fishing pier with composite hand rails and composite decking. Stainless cable system was used as another handrail component. This site also has a picnic shelter, restroom facility, bike repair station, benches and picnic table. The shore stabilization was done rip rap and the parking lot is paved. This project came in over budget and with the help of HK&W marine and Ben Cox LLC, the project was value engineered, came in under budget and completed on time. This is a project that this community and out of town guest traveling the interstate can enjoy.
